            2011 Offspring

We've decided to make this page to show examples of what we have produced in the 2011 season. They may not necessarily be for sale, but it's more of a way to show what we are working on and striving to achieve. We hope to continue producing better and better animals with our continued selective breeding.

This was the 3rd hatchling we got out of this pairing, and it was quite the surprise to see something with such nice clean stripes and even lateral striping pop out of one of the eggs. This gecko was basically sold as soon as it hatched, but it went to a good friend that will keep us updated on it's progress. We are hoping that it stays more of the yellow base color.

            Azera x Garth

Last year was the first year we paired up our gargoyles, but we never got any fertile eggs from Azera. We re-paired them this spring, and recently got our first hatchling! She/he is super cute, and will probably keep this one at least until she/he is sexable. If she/he is indeed female, we will eventually pair her with our red stripe male from Tremper.

After dozens of dud eggs, and even more eggs that never made it all the way through the incubation process, we finally hatched out or first Uroplatus sikorae sikorae! We love this species so much and are so excited to have these little ones to raise up.

We were super excited to get a call from our gecko sitter that our first chahoua of the season had hatched. The clutchmate arrived later that evening after we had gotten home. We will be holding this one back to see how the color develops and increase our chahoua colony.

Our first ever R. leachianus (Island E) has hatched! We are very excited, as this egg has had us worried for the past week. Normally our eggs don't start sweating until hatching is pretty close, but this one was sweating almost every day for a week. I was so happy to see this little face this morning!

            Athena x Mushu

            Picture
We welcome the first black and white / bumble bee babies! This little one looks a lot like Mushu when he first hatched. It'll be fun to watch her grow and come into her colors.

This is the first of the six we got from the pair this year. All of them have some sort of pinstriping. Two of them hatched out as funky reverse pinners. Will definitely repeat the breeding next year.
